Fitness Competition

Daddy is entering a weight loss and fitness competition at work. It sounds really cool and Daddy is excited about eating better and exercising again. Plus, if he wins he says he is buying himself a new TV for the basement. I don't really understand why because we have one down there, but I will leave that for Mommy to deal with. Anyway, after seeing Daddy pose I had to have my turn.

Muscles! Check out those pecs!

Here I am flexing from the side.

Front pose, no flex. Quinn- I might be getting a belly. Sorry about that!

And finally, the back- Check me out!
It was all too funny. You'll notice today's paper in the pictures as well. This way we could prove the day the pictures were taken.

Snow!

We had the beginning of our snowy winter on December 29th. No White Christmas. I helped Daddy shovel and played with the dogs and Mommy outside in the snow. We have tons more than that now. When I went out yesterday to help, it was up to my waist. Mommy even pulled me in the sled down the street. The dogs wore their coats, but were still to chilly to be outside. They hung out in the garage until it was time to go inside, then rested in front of the fire place.

Christmas Day

Look at these from bottom to top! Mommy says she can only do so much and rearranging the pictures is not one of the things she wants to do today! (he he- She makes me laugh)
It was Papa's birthday on Christmas. We sang to him and I was even asked to help him blow out his candles. I'm not sure why Daddy and Great Papa are helping out. What's a boy to do?

These are my cousins, Julie and Alex. Both of them live in Florida and go to school there. That must be pretty cool! I like the snow though.

I entertained my family by playing all sorts of songs on my new keyboard. I prefer to play classical music- following the Little Einsteins.

This is my super new cool sled! Daddy and I took it for a test spin around the family room.

I got a new movie too- Danny and the Dinosaur. I ask Mommy and Daddy to read it to me every night and usually before my nap too. Do you think they are trying to get out of reading it to me by getting me the movie? It's not going to work!

Isn't this the coolest work bench? Mommy and Daddy got this for me so I can help with projects around the house. I have spent plenty of time measuring the counters and doors for Daddy.

Piper was all about lounging- in the middle of where we were trying to open presents.

Samson wanted to bury himself in the presents for some reason. I'm not too sure why? He was a good boy and Santa left the dogs some things in their stockings.

I asked Santa Claus for only one thing- a piano. Guess What?! I must have done something right- He left it for me. Maybe it was the yummy cookies we left for him or the carrots we left for his crew.
Christmas morning was such fun! Mommy and I waited upstairs for Daddy to get home from work so he could see what Santa left me when I discovered it. We'll see if this waiting thing works next year.....

Christmas Eve

I wanted to make Piper as comfy as possible when she laid down to relax!

I finally posed for a Christmas picture. What do you think about skulls, red stockings, and a red hat?
I love it! Wearing Piper and Sammy's Christmas stockings is one of my favorite things to do this holiday season. I take them off their hooks and wear them all over the house!

I got a preview of Christmas today and was able to open presents from Meme and Uncle Mike and Aunt Kelly. I loved everything!

Making Cookies

Check me out making cookies with Mommy (she's taking all the pictures) and Daddy. I had a great time using the flour and helping Daddy roll the dough. I even have my own apron with bees on it!

I am learning so much at school. I loved using this heart cut-out and know circle, triangle, rectangle, and square too!

Skating School

Well, I finally did it! I finally made it thru a class at skating school! My first 3 classes, I spent crying and I even threw my gloves at the teachers. What can I say? I don't like to fall on the cold ice! Well, everything changed after my birthday when I got new snowpants! I skated with help and did not cry! I was even smiling and laughing. It is so much fun and I can't wait to go back. Hopefully, Daddy will take me to open skate soon since Mommy can't do it while she has a baby in her belly.

After skating, I love to watch the big boys play and I get a snack (always Chex Mix) from the vending machine!

Mom's Work Party

I went to see Santa at Mommy's work. First, I played in the gym with Mommy and Daddy. How lucky am I that Daddy pulled me around on this cool scooter? I colored, ate dinner, and then the big guy came. My present was at the bottom of his bag and I did such a nice job waiting FOREVER for my present!
