One Month

We can't believe that one month has passed since Baby Gwendolyn was born! Our little girl has really grown in the past month (and lost the hair on the top of her head).

Birth Day

One Month- loving tummy time. Gwen has been lifting her head since the day she was born. We can't believe what a strong little one she is.

Gwen's first spa party

Gwen went to her first River Meadows Spa Party with Mommy on Friday night. Aunt Kelly and Aunt Jeanine watched Evan. Gwen was super spoiled and held by Halle most of the night. Daddy did stop by while working and we snapped the first shot of her with Daddy in uniform.

Evan

Evan is really into having his picture taken- can you tell? Here he wanted his picture taken with his favorite dog: Piper. He enjoys torturing Samson!

Yesterday was so hot! Our neighbors filled up their baby pool and we fun swimming and sub bathing in their driveway. They did stop to snack on some apples!

Cookies

Yesterday, I made chocolate chip cookies with Mommy. It was so much fun and I could not wait until they finished cooking so I could eat them! I ate them when they were still warm and oh so delicious!

Family Time

We had a little brunch on Sunday to get together with Mommy's family and Grandma Cris. It was a ton of fun. Here are a few photos. Mommy has to upload more later- especially the ones that I took :>)

More pics

My mom got a new flash for her camera over a year ago and has used it about 2-3 times. This was one of them. She decided to see how it worked- it is supposed to provide light to an area without changing the look of skin tones or whatever. Who knows! Anyway, here are some pictures of Baby Gwen and me too (in one). I am sure there will be more- I think I heard her mention some other photo ideas...... 2 weeks

While none of these pictures show what Gwen really looks like this week, they are of her 2 week check up. She went to the doctor's this afternoon and was measured and weighed. Gwen is now 21 inches long and 8 pounds 13 ounces. She is a growing girl who enjoys eating, eating, and yes eating. Gwen is in the 75th percentile for length, weight, and head circumference- so all looks well. She goes back to the doctor's in 6 weeks for her 2 month check up. Gwen will get shots at that visit.

Niagara Falls Aquarium and Daddy's Home

On Thursday, we went to the Niagara Falls Aquarium with Evan's Nursery School. Daddy was working in Albany for the week, so Mommy and Gwen came with me. Mrs. Andrea and my buddy, Andrew, followed us in their car. Here we are looking at the penguins. They are super close to you and we got to see them eat fish too!

My class went to the touch tank in the basement. I held a sea urchin, spider crab, mussel, and starfish. It was super cool.

Then, last night Daddy came home from Albany! I was so excited to see him. I even made up a song about missing Daddy while he was gone. This is the bag that he took with him to work out of town. When he finished unpacking it, I climbed in. Next time, I am going with him!

Unlce Don Swinging

Aunt Peggy and Uncle Don came over on Sunday. We ate dinner on the patio and had a ton of fun playing on my swing set. Check out Uncle Don (aka Uncle Beard along with Uncle Bob) on the swings with me. I did not want to stop going.

Big Brother

Evan has been such a wonderful big brother to Gwen. Here he is holding her- he loves holding her. He gets blankets, towels, whatever and loves kissing her toes and giving hugs.

MeMe came over today and brought gifts for Evan. She gave him this really cool Iron Man Mask. You touch buttons on the sides and it talks. He also got the glove that lights up and shoots things. Who knows- mom has to learn about this. Can you see his eyes? He loves it and wore it all morning until nap. I am sure it will go back on soon!

We went to our neighbor's house for dinner last night and Evan was introduced to Night Vision Goggles. He had a riot playing with them in the basement and then came home and changed into his Batman PJ's- that's when he needs to be addressed as "Batman Evan".
