Zoo with Daddy

Daddy took Evan to the Buffalo Zoo on Monday. Evan loved watching the animals, especially the seals.

Evan had the playground to himself. He was in heaven!

Evan checked out the Gorilla House and stayed there for a while.

He was able to see the baby tigers too!

And, let's not forget about the new addition- the baby rhino. Mommy is jealous that she didn't get to go too.

He also got to search for bones in the Bone Pit. I'm not so sure if he found anything interesting, but digging was probably enough!

Grandpa Time and Evan's New Slide

Evan, Grandpa Bill, and Mommy went to a Surprise Party for Jocelyn. Evan was inseparable from Grandpa. Grandpa found him a balloon and said that Evan raided the dessert table. Check out that chocolate face!

We have been watching Craigslist for a slide for Evan. They go fast, so when we found this one, Daddy had to go pick it up right away. Evan saw it the next morning and ran to it. Then he invited Joseph over to play!

New House- Wiring is complete!

Our house already has a roof! This is how it looks from our yard, which has a long way to go!

And, this is the front of our new home. There is plastic over the garage and front steps because the concrete was put in. It's all coming along so quickly! We can hardly believe that we'll be moving in the next two months.

Joseph's New Play Area

Joseph's mom and dad have been working hard to put together a new play area in their yard. Evan loves it! Mom does too because it is right next door! What are we going to do when we move? We might have to head to the store this weekend to buy Evan a few outdoor items.

Our new house

After visiting with Declan, we went to see how our new house was coming along. Tim was going thru withdrawl because he hadn't been able to check on it in a week.
This is our family room and that hole is where the fireplace will be.

Dog Park

We had a busy first day home! Before going to see Declan, Evan and mom took the dogs to the dog park. Piper is making sure Evan is okay when another dog is coming close. She's just checking in. Evan and the dogs fell asleep on the ride home. It was perfect!

Declan Cooper

Today Evan got to meet Declan Cooper, Aunt Jill and Uncle Garrett's baby, for the very first time. His mom went into labor while we were on vacation and she was watching our dogs. Boy, we owe her! Evan wasn't too crazy about mommy holding the baby. But, since Declan is too cute how could he say "no" for long. Declan is so beautiful- just the perfect little baby. I'm sure you can see that. Do you think mom and dad are ready for #2? Tim says, "I'm definitely not ready!"
